How to send clients directions before an appointment

A repeatable workflow for sending clients parking and entrance instructions ahead of time, so they arrive on time and calm.

Most client no-shows and late arrivals start with one question the client couldn't answer: where am I going? Here's how to solve it once, and stop answering it manually before every appointment.

Steps

  1. Write your arrival note onceDescribe parking, the entrance, and the room or suite number in three sentences. Write it like you're explaining to a friend who's never been.
  2. Save it to your location profileIn Visitor.Place, add the note to the location you're meeting at. Every future visit at that location will include it automatically.
  3. Send the invitationCreate the visit, enter the client's email or phone, and send. The invitation goes out immediately; the directions surface 24 hours before the appointment.
  4. Let the pass do the restThe same link becomes a QR access pass 2 hours before the visit. The client never has to dig for information.
