Touchless Check-In

A visitor arrival flow that requires no shared surface (iPad, pen, paper) — the guest is recognized by a credential on their own phone.

Touchless check-in became a baseline expectation in 2020 and has stayed as a default. Instead of signing a paper book or tapping a shared kiosk, the guest presents a QR code or wallet pass from their own device.

Visitor.Place is touchless by default because the pass is on the guest's phone; there is no kiosk to tap.
